EthSwitch conducted its 12th Annual Shareholders Meeting at Sheraton Addis on October 28, 2025. At the meeting, it was announced that the Company achieved remarkable results in overall performance, operations, revenue generation, and
project execution.
Operationally, the national switch processed 287.4 million interoperable transactions with a total value of ETB 741.1billion during the reporting period.
In the fiscal year, P2P transfer service from one bank account to another with a total of 128.3 million transactions was made which amount to ETB 577.7 billion, showing a growth of 158 percent compared to last year.
The banking industry made 119.3 million interoperable ATM transactions, amounting to ETB 156.1 billion. Compared to the previous year, this showed an increase of 26% percent. Regarding POS, a total of 2.78 million interoperable POS transactions worth ETB 7.2 billion were made, an increase of 24% percent from last year.
According to the Company’s financial report, EthSwitch achieved a total revenue of ETB 2.2 billion and profit before tax ETB 1.42 billion, marking a 34% increase compared to the previous fiscal year.
